Absolutely woeful response from the UK Government and the Labour Party to the report of the Ombusdman into the pensions injustice which has caused such harm to so many 1950s born WASPI Campaign 2018Â women.
Rather than accepting the need to, as the Ombudsman Chief Exec has said, "do the right thing", they're both obfuscating, rowing back, and getting as far away from the issue as possible. It's a disgraceful betrayal of these women.
I have long campaigned for justice for the WASPI women in East Renfrewshire. I can be sure they're not going away, and neither am I.
