A very welcome visit to local company VSN Sports, to discuss their work on sports kits for girls and women in particular.
Impressive levels of research and work going on to making sure any barriers such as poorly fitting kit (designed for men), need not get in the way of girls and women playing sports. There’s a significant drop-off in female sporting participation in teenage years and comfortable properly fitting kit is one important way to address this and keep girls and women active.
Lovely also to hear that amongst their national and international work, they provide many of our local clubs with kit, including Arthurlie FC and St Cadoc’s YC.
