Today is Purple Day, the international day for epilepsy. Epilepsy is the most common neurological condition with an estimated 55,000 people in Scotland living with the condition.
I have tabled an Early Day Motion marking the day and noting the excellent work of Epilepsy Scotland whose efforts to support, advocate and advise make a significant difference. I applaud them also for the work they do in increasing awareness and dispelling myths.
Best wishes for purple day.
