I have now twice asked Jacob Rees-Mogg why the UK Government is backsliding on their commitments to unaccompanied child refugees.
They have walked away from their duty to these children, who are in the most perilous of situations, and are now shamefully trying to suggest that they are not doing so and that I am somehow mistaken when I call them out on it.
I am not mistaken, and it is a disgraceful betrayal of these most vulnerable young people.
I will continue to press this matter.
