Today, at Women and Equalities Questions, I asked where the promised Employment Bill and the promised measures to prevent Pregnancy and maternity Discrimination are. I am no clearer after the response on what is to happen, or why on earth these promises have not been kept.
Covid has brought into ever sharper focus inequality in Employment, and whether on this issue, flexible working rights, fire and rehire, precarious employment or more, we need action, or we need the power over Employment Law in Scotland so we can make the improvements necessary to deliver fairness and equality in work.
