Prior to the Budget statement today, I asked about the level of investment in childcare provision, in the context of the significant investment the SNP Government make in Scotland in the support for our children in their early years. I think my face may betray that I feared the Minister was not answering the question I asked. Nothing much on this topic in the budget statement either.
