Great day to be round and about in East Renfrewshire, speaking to residents and local businesses.
It was great to visit the Post Office and Village Store in Giffnock and hear more about all the services on offer in both the PO and the shop. Lovely to see such a buzz about the place too!
Our local high streets need our support whenever we can give it, and Post Offuces are vital to this because of the services the provide to other local businesses as well as to residents.
In a debate in Westminster Hall earlier this month I said: “Our post offices do a brilliant job. I have stood here before and waxed lyrical about the brilliant post offices in East Renfrewshire. They are fantastic” - I highly recommend visiting your local PO, and thanks to everyone working hard to support our local area.
