Visits across East Ren

Sometimes I’m asked what constituency days look like. They’re all different but here’s what yesterday looked like:

Great to be out and about across East Ren yesterday. Started off with constituency surgery calls, then a visit to the Giffnock Newton Mearns Synagogue where I saw FM Humza Yousaf, a quick bowl of (delicious) soup in The Pad in Neilston, then off to meet the teams from Neilston Development Trust and Uplawmoor Development Trust and others working to deliver an accessible route between the villages. Smashing to be joined by Tom Arthur MSP and Cllr Chris Lunday.

Next stop was the new Include Me2 Club cafe in Cowan Park for a meeting in the cafe and then a wee walk in the park. Then in the evening the best of Summer Fairs at Carlibar Primary where Claire and her parent council colleagues had done an amazing job - and who could twist throwing wet sponges at the head teacher Mr Gillies for £1 a throw.
