Today, in an urgent health question, I asked Matt Hancock whether he agreed with me that Dominic Cummings' outrageous rule-breaking had damaged confidence in the public health messages of the UK Government. Astonishingly, he does not.
That's not credible and he clearly doesn't give two hoots for the messaging if he is prepared to repeatedly trample all over it as he is doing. This matters because of the health implications, and the damage to trust. It's a great shame he is not willing to see that and try to put it right.
