Very grateful to spend time at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre and Ukrainian School Glasgow which is situated in what was formerly the Warden’s House at Greenbank Church. What an amazing job is being done to support all those who came from Ukraine, and make sure that there is the opportunity to come together and share experiences and assist one another.
None of this has been possible without huge amounts of work, and I take my hat off to all involved in this important and ambitious project.
I was very interested in all the work being done to deliver English and Ukrainian classes, and to engage in activities like Ukrainian crafts. How nice to know that these sessions are open to the public more widely too. I loved these traditional Ukrainian headbands (pictured), which are so beautifully made.
Why not have a look at their Facebook page to keep up with all they are doing.
