UK Government Should Learn From Scottish Child Payment
In the Autumn Budget statement yesterday, I pointed the Chancellor towards the two elephants in the room: The disastrous Tory Mini budget and the damage cause by Brexit. Extraordinary that he made no mention whatsoever of the damage these have caused to everyone's finances.
His political choices are far too focussed on making life harder for those who can least afford it. You can't balance the books by doubling down on austerity.
