Senior phase students should now NOT attend school

The First Minister has announced that senior phase students should now NOT attend school to complete any coursework, given changed scientific advice.

Please share, to ensure parents and students are aware of this changed advice, which the SQA has advised that it agrees with.

Further information will be issued in due course.

She has also very explicitly asked us ALL to consider each individual action we are taking and whether it is absolutely essential.

Do you need to go out? If it is not essential, do not go out. If you do need to leave your home, please please keep a distance from others.

Only go to the shops if you need something essential and if you need to queue, please maintain that distance.

If we ALL follow the advice we are being given, we can save lives.
