Changes to self isolation rules from midnight tonight:
If you test positive, option to end isolation after 7 days if you do not have a fever AND have 2 negative LFT results - one on day 6 and one at least 24 hrs later.
Close contacts of positive cases under 18 yrs 4 months, and adults who are fully vaccinated (i.e. first, second, third if eligible or boosted) can end self isolation by taking a LFT test every day for 7 days. If not vaccinated you must still self isolate for 10 days and take a PCR.
New testing rules:
If you have symptoms - book PCR (even with positive LFT)
If no symptoms and LFT positive, from tomorrow, no requirement for PCR to confirm result. Isolate and report your result online for Test and Protect to begin contact tracing
Continue to limit contacts, prioritise social gatherings and meet no more than 3 households.
