Scotland's Towns Partnership

Last night, I was able to join the Clarkston Community Council by zoom, at their monthly meeting. Amidst much constructive discussion on local issues and initiatives, I reported to them that I had attended a very useful meeting with Scotland's Towns partnership, along with colleagues, yesterday afternoon - pictured.

Scotland's Towns Partnership is behind the important 'Scotland Loves Local' campaign, which I have been supporting in East Renfrewshire over recent weeks, promoting the importance of shopping locally, and supporting the businesses at the heart of our community. These links between business and community were discussed and much appreciated by the members of the community council, who are working very hard to drive forward improvement and dialogue locally. I'm grateful to them for including me in their meeting, and happy to attend other community meetings this way wherever I can.
