Glad to have the chance to speak earlier today about the utterly wrong-headed approach of the UK Government on their irredeemably awful Rwanda Bill.
It’s unlawful, straight out of the right-wing playbook, and a shocking way to deal with the most vulnerable people. And it won’t work. They should instead provide safe and legal routes for those seeking asylum.
It’s hugely aggravating too that the Tory Party are so intensely focussed on their unworkable and toxic plan, when the reality here is that people are struggling to deal with a further increase in inflation, perishing cold weather, at a time when energy bills are sky high, and bills rocketing.
Yet again, the priorities of the Westminster Government are far removed from they values and priorities of people in Scotland.
