Today, I asked Dominic Raab what the UK Government's approach will be to human rights abuses in the future. Despite the humanitarian situation, the UK traded almost £5 billion to Saudi Arabia since the war began, which well eclipses the aid given to the people of Yemen by the UK. If the UK is not willing to stand up to countries, even those that allied to it, then there should be consequences whenever the UN confirms that systemic human rights violations and murder have been committed. Dominic Raab said he agreed with me. Time will tell.
