Protect Scotland App

Protect Scotland is an NHS Scotland app designed to alert you if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

If you are living in or visiting Scotland, and are over the age of 16, you can download the app via your app store or the link below. It uses Bluetooth technology, so your phone will need to have this enabled to ensure it works.

Cases in the community have begun to rise and people are spending more time indoors together.

The best way to protect yourself and others is to continue to follow F.A.C.T.S.

If you test positive you will be sent a code to enter into the app, which will then alert those you have been in close contact with.

The app will never track or reveal your identity or location, but will collect some statistics in order to ensure it's working properly.
