The RSPCA has said the PM’s Australia trade deal will “start a race to the bottom and the losers will be billions of farmed animals, and UK farmers".
I asked the PM if he accepts these concerns from the experts at the RSPCA or if he thinks he knows better.
Evidently he thinks he knows better.
(And that's aside from the issues with the woeful potential value of the deal, the huge and pressing concerns of farmers and crofters, the worries of industry bodies, and the failure of the UK Government to consult with anyone at all on this).
