At Women and Equalities Questions, I again raised the issue of pregnancy and maternity discrimination, which was an already pressing and very damaging concern, and one which has now been amplified by the pandemic.
The UK Government know this, and know the scale of the problem, but have failed to take the necessary steps to stamp it out. Their long promised Employment Bill remains missing in action, so women continue to face workplace discrimination due to pregnancy and maternity.
If the UK Government won't fix this, they should devolve the power over employment to the Scottish Government, and we will sort it ourselves, and make work fairer for us all.
