As some of you will know, I spend a bit of time talking about Post Offices and how important they are to our communities in East Renfrewshire. I’ve repeatedly brought up the need for these businesses to be sustainable, and have repeatedly called for action to prevent closures such as we currently see in Neilston and Clarkston.
I was very glad to pop into Netherlee Post & News last week. As well as all the important Post Office services which are key services for all our local areas, the shop itself is fantastic with a huge range of goods and a lovely warm welcome.
We need our local Post Offices. Please support them where you can.
