Many East Ren constituents contact me regarding the freedom of religion and the importance of being able to follow the faith - or no faith - of your choice.
As I have done every time this event has taken place whilst I have been elected, this week I attended the Open Doors UK & Ireland World Watch list briefing on the persecution of Christians around the world.
Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right, and I am grateful to Open Doors for all they do to support those who do not have this freedom, and for their work in ensuring continued awareness of this issue.
