Just a reminder that we are in the midst of a stay of execution for the No52 Barrhead Circular Bus Service. I am grateful to McGills for giving us this extra time to show that this service is well used, and I had another meeting with them about this last week to try and press home how important this service is locally.
We need to be aware of the importance of using this bus where that is possible, because any decision about the future of the route will come down to passengers using the service. In the meantime, I'll keep speaking to people locally, and I'll keep speaking to McGills.
