Glad to spend the evening with Cllr Annette Ireland, first at a busy and constructive Netherlee and Stamperland Community Council meeting, and then meeting with reps from voluntary groups to discuss the potential closure of Stamperland Parish Church including how to support affected groups.
We await a final decision on the future of the Church building but discussions with both the Church and affected groups will be key in finding a way forward which keeps the community as a central focus.
