A really lovely day, helping at the Neilston Parish Church Saturday Lunch Club. It takes place every Saturday, 12 -2pm, at the Church Hall on Neilston High Street.
This is their first birthday and it’s a wonderful achievement to have this welcoming inclusive club happening locally. It’s so clear how much those attending enjoy the great chat, lovely food, and the kids all really enjoyed playing together.
Glad to put my tattie peeling and dish washing skills to good use helping the brilliant volunteers who make this happen every week. Such a kind and cheerful bunch - it’s no wonder that even on a dreich day like today, folk were keen to come along.
I wish everyone involved in the club all the best with their work. If you’re in the area in a Saturday lunchtime, pop in and you’ll get a warm welcome and a smashing lunch too.
