Minister's Questions 24/2/2020

Today, I asked about the situation in Syria, where civilians caught up in this horrific conflict are experiencing ever more hellish conditions, including targeted attacks of the most horrific kinds, and with the situation continuing to escalate day by day.

I asked the Minister what practical action the UK Government could take to increase the support to those suffering on the ground. I also asked him to explain why more Syrian refugees could not be brought to safety.

He had no answer and this is not good enough.

We can't continue to turn our backs on these people who are living in the most desperate conditions while their homes are devastated around them.
