Hugely grateful to Zara Mohammed for a very constructive meeting earlier today. Many congratulations to Zara on taking office as the first woman, young person, and Scot to be General Secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain.
We had a very useful discussion on the importance of increasing diversity in public life, post Covid life including employment opportunities and the vital importance of eradicating Islamophobia.
