A huge thanks to these fantastic senior students from Mearns Castle High School who invited me over to cut the ribbon and start their fun run today.
They organized the event themselves - no mean feat when you see the huge crowds in the school auditorium waiting to start - and they did it to raise funds for the Royal Benevolent Medical Fund. A smashing cause and close to their hearts because this group are the school Medic Society, all aiming to work in medical and related fields.
