Mario's Giffnock - EDM

We’re so lucky to have some fantastic local businesses in East Renfrewshire. Award winning businesses too - the brilliant Mario's Giffnock has been crowned overall Fish and Chip Shop of the Year at the first-ever Scottish Chippy Awards. Mario’s was founded over 30 years ago, and is no stranger to awards, having been voted the Best Fish and Chips in Glasgow at the Scottish Italian Awards in 2018. Lovely to visit today to present a certificate noting their success via an Early Day Motion (EDM) laid down at Westminster, and great to hear about their fundraising on behalf of the Catherine McEwan Foundation, which helps people living with Crohn’s and Colitis to access better treatment. Our local businesses can always use our support, and I wish all the team at Mario’s every continued success for the future.
