I was glad to meet with Brain Tumour Research to discuss the importance of increasing the level of investment in research into the treatment of brain tumours.
It is staggering to think that one in three people will know someone who previously had or is currently fighting a brain tumour.
I know this is an issue which is personal for many of us, and that people across East Renfrewshire will have been impacted directly or indirectly by the awful diagnosis of a brain tumour.
