Grateful to be able to spend some time today at the first of the Jewish Care Scotland and Cosgrove Care ‘Warm Spaces’ in Giffnock. We are fortunate to have such generous spirited organisations in our midst, organising initiatives like this to help others. A big thanks to everyone involved.
The Walton Community Care Centre is open every Sunday, from 13 November, between 12 and 3 pm and if you go along you’re promised a a warm welcome, a hot brew, a simple meal and a smile.
These sessions are free of charge and open to anyone struggling with the harsh winter months, whether you need to keep warm, have something to eat or want to see a friendly face.
