What a pleasure to meet the amazing participants in a wonderful art project facilitated by Impact Arts Inc at their exhibition in St Andrew’s Church Barrhead today.
The participants produced remarkable and very accomplished artwork, which was an absolute credit to them and the support they received. It was great to hear about the employability-focussed qualifications which were part of the project, and the confidence and focus from all participants was really impressive.
Lovely to hear some of the artwork will be appearing in local parks too so that we can all enjoy it!
This project was a real partnership effort - as well as the hard work from Impact Arts, it was backed by Barrhead Housing Association and East Ren LAC, and thanks to The Scottish Government No-one Left Behind funding.
