Glad to be at the very moving Glasgow Reform Synagogue Holocaust Memorial Day service this morning, as part of a very busy online congregation including colleagues Councillor Caroline Bamforth SNP for Newton Mearns South and Eaglesham, Cllr Colm Merrick SNP, Cllr Annette Ireland and Cllr Tony Buchanan.
It was a very thought provoking service, and we heard about Lily Ebert's story of her terrible ordeal in Auschwitz, and her promise to herself to tell the world what had happened in the hope of preventing it happening again. Lily is remarkable, and you can read more about her here.
