What a treat it was to meet Emma Dean yesterday while I was visiting Netherlee Primary.
At only 10 years old, Emma won gold in the tap section at the Dance World Cup in Portugal - the world’s largest all-genre dance competition - as well as silver in the acro section, and placed sixth for jazz dance.
This comes on top of Emma currently being Scottish juvenile ballet, modern, and acro dance champion following the Scottish Championships in April.
This kind of success is the product of an intense training schedule and it was wonderful to hear more from Emma and see her medals!
Huge congrats to her and best wishes for her continued success. I was delighted to present her with an EDM certificate marking her achievements.
