Many thanks to Elect Her who brought together current women MPs with women who would like to be MPs at Westminster today - cross party - so we could discuss, support and encourage.
We need more diverse representation in politics, and it was fantastic to be involved with this smashing group of women.
Also a great opportunity to talk about the fantastic women representatives we already have - very glad to highlight the brilliant work which my SNP colleagues Cllr Angela Convery SNP, Cllr Annette Ireland and Councillor Caroline Bamforth SNP for Newton Mearns South and Eaglesham are doing in East Ren.
