East Renfrewshire Return to School Pressures

I've been in discussion recently with East Renfrewshire Council about the pressures facing families as children return to school. I am very mindful of how smart all our young folk look when heading off to school, but I know that for some families the cost of providing replacement uniforms for children who've not stopped growing over lockdown will be a serious concern.

I am glad that Mark Ratter, the Director of Education, also acknowledges this, and indicates that schools will be mindful and supportive. He also provides some other useful information, which is worth sharing, so I will reproduce a recent letter here for information.
