Good to visit the new Eaglesham Scout Hall and see the progress made so far as they move onto the next phase, looking to secure the funds to kit out the internals and develop the outside space. No doubt they’d be glad to hear from anyone able to support them with that.
The new scouting session kicks off shortly and like so many of our great youth organisations they have found ways to keep this going despite the challenges of Covid and in this case the additional challenge of rebuilding the Scout Hall.
I look forward to the completion of the work, knowing the importance of providing opportunities for young folk to get together and enjoy scouting and other activities, and for other community groups and individuals also to make use of the facility.
