Is anyone able to keep up with this?
First there were no parties, then there may have been but the PM was very angry to hear about it if anyone had been given the "impression" that there had been parties, then there may have been gatherings, then nobody had any evidence of anything, then there he was in a photo but it was actually a cheese and wine work meeting (who on earth has that kind of meeting in their job?) etc etc, party party.
And of course none of the above is true.
So it actually seems that while the rest of us were only allowed to meet ONE person outdoors, Downing Street invited ONE HUNDRED people to a drinks party.
