I have received a number of emails last night and this morning from people who are a combination of furious, confused and worried, following the news of Dominic Cummings breaking lockdown rules.
I will say here what I have said to them - please please follow the advice which is there to protect us all. I know it has been hard, and we all miss our loved ones very much, but let's not let this distract from a really important public health message.
The lockdown rules are there for a reason - to save lives.
