Grateful to the Humane Society International for further discussions this week on animal welfare issues.
Following my recent work on the need for the MOD to adopt alternatives to real fur, it was helpful to discuss the continued use of fur - some marketed falsely as fake fur - in fashion items, and how this can be stopped.
I was also very glad to reiterate my calls for a ban on trophy hunting which is inhumane and cruel and must be stopped.
