Coronavirus: Young people are not ‘invincible’, WHO warns

I posted about this earlier in the day, but I think it’s worth doing so again, after a number of reports of crowds of young folk out socialising in East Ren today and this evening.

Please, please heed the advice to keep your young folk at home and to socially distance.

I know it will be very tempting to young people to go and hang out with their pals, and as parents none of us want to spoil all their fun.

But this is critical.

As well as presenting a significant risk to their own health, they risk infecting others if they pass on the virus.

I know it is hard - I have my own young folk at home - but we all need to take the steps asked of us, to keep us all safe. Please keep them in, and keep them safe.
