The victims of the contaminated blood scandal which has devastated lives, including horrific treatment of children whose families trusted the medical establishment to look after them. The victims continue to die at the rate of two per week, and yet there is precious little appearance of speed from the UK Government. This is not a party political issue, and MPs of all stripes are urging haste and proper redress. This is the biggest scandal in the history of the NHS and needs to be treated as such, with compensation arrangements made without further delay.
