Really lovely to do the honours - ie serve the tea and cakes, and wash up - for the brilliant volunteers who make it possible to run the Community Transport in East Renfrewshire, otherwise known as the Wee Red Bus.
It was super to be joined by Councillor Caroline Bamforth SNP for Newton Mearns South and Eaglesham. Cllr Colm Merrick SNP, Cllr Chris Lunday amongst others, and the chat with the volunteers, other guests, and the amazing team who run the Community Transport service was smashing.
They are a really fantastic team, but can always use more volunteers. If you might want to give that a go, have a wee look at the attached flyer, and give them a call.
