An absolutely wonderful start to the day, visiting the Breakfast Club at Mearns Primary School. This club clearly means the world to the children who attend - and they were amazing ambassadors, telling me all about the great fun, support and companionship they experience.
The club was recently named as a finalist in the Kelloggs national breakfast club competition, and no wonder. The teachers and all those working so hard to make this club work are doing a fantastic job.
Huge thanks to them for hosting me so that I could deliver a certificate noting their great achievement, and special thanks to the children for telling me so much about all the great things they do.
