Both Votes SNP for the NHS

Nicola Sturgeon has urged people across Scotland to give both votes to the SNP in Thursday’s election, so she can take immediate action to remobilise the NHS in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The First minister said the next government has no time to waste in helping the NHS get back on its feet – with only the SNP ready to get to work with plans to deliver a pay-rise for NHS staff, open fast-track cancer diagnosis centres and publish an NHS Recovery Plan to increase NHS activity by 10% within the first 100 days, if re-elected.

With decisions on Covid restrictions to be taken within days of the result, the First Minister will emphasise the importance of having the serious leadership needed to keep Scotland in safe hands.
