Best wishes to all the young people in East Renfrewshire who are receiving their results today, at the end of a very challenging and different school year. I hope the results were the ones hoped for, but if not I know school staff are at the ready to discuss options, and there is no one right path to the future so the SDS helpline is also available to ensure all the various choices open to every young person can be looked at.

The Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Results Helpline is now open. will be open from 8am on Tuesday 4th August as pupils across Scotland receive their results.
The expert advice and guidance on offer from SDS advisers will be crucial to support students and their families. This year poses especially difficult challenges for students, but ensure you take full advantage of all the assistance that is available.
The Helpline number is 0808 100 8000 and advisers can also be contacted via Facebook at facebook.com/myworldofwork.
The helpline is open weekdays: • Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th August, 8am to 8pm • Thursday 6th, Friday 7th, Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th August, 9am to 5pm
