A real treat to visit Barrhead Post Office today, on Access to Cash Day, and see their lovely staff team in action, supporting the local community.
Access to cash is a big issue for many in our community, in particular older or more vulnerable people, and the fact that customers of all major banks can withdraw cash at the Post Office is also important to know in these days of banks disappearing from our local shopping areas.
I know residents across East Renfrewshire value their Post Offices and the range of services they provide.
It was great to see the range of lovely gifts, books and cards the Barrhead Post Office sells too - well worth a look, and yet another good reason for shopping local.
