Pleased to spend lunchtime on Radio 5 Live taking to Adrian Chiles about working hard for people in East Renfrewshire, and about people in Scotland rather than Boris Johnson making choices about our future.
It has been a fascinating day, watching the Queen’s Speech debate. There is precious little in the UK Government plans to recommend them to the people in East Ren. The SNP has put forward an alternative prospectus, with much more in the way of practical things to make real lives better, including protecting the NHS from a Trump Trade deal, protecting our public services, enhanced parental leave, getting rid of the rape clause and two child cap, backing the WASPI women, abolishing the ever expanding House of Lords. We should be ambitious this way for all our communities.
