One of the first All Party Parliamentary Groups I was interested in joining when I was re-elected in December was the APPG on Autism. I know that there are many Autistic people living in East Renfrewshire, and I thought it would be very helpful to attend Autism Awareness training, when this was offered via the National Autistic Society. I am very glad I did this - it was extremely informative and will no doubt be helpful. Hearing from you is also helpful, so if I can be of assistance, but perhaps contacting each other would work better in a different way - for instance if my weekly phone surgery doesn't really work for you - please just let me know. I'm very happy to change things about and to learn how best to do that for anyone.
