So many constituents get in touch with me regarding animal welfare concerns. Issues ranging from domestic pets, importation of goods such as fur and foie gras, farming welfare standards and more appear in my postbag.
As well as following and applauding the work of excellent local groups like Cats Protection Giffnock & District Branch, I was glad today to meet with World Animal Protection, who do a wide range of valuable work on a whole spectrum of animal welfare issues.
