It was a real pleasure to be at the All About Barrhead awards at the Dalmeny Park Hotel last night. As part of the judging panel, I can’t emphasize enough how fantastic all the finalists were.
They are all outstanding people who make our community better with their enthusiasm, energy and dedication. It was really lovely to present the award for the best national business in Barrhead to the team from Tesco, and I was delighted to see the incomparable Rena McGuire named as the recipient of the Barrhead Star Award in recognition of her immense contribution to life in the town.
Many congratulations to all those nominated and the brilliant finalists. A huge well done to Barrhead BID for making this excellent showcase of brilliant Barrhead happen
